Photoshelter launches PRINTS Site

August 28, 2008

My stock agency, The PhotoShelter Collection, announced earlier this week that it will be selling art prints from a handful of photographers for a limited time. I am happy to say that I have been chosen to participate in this exciting event!

Here is the main Photoshelter Prints site: http://pa.photoshelter.com/c/psc-prints/

My image is included in the Contemporary Gallery, along with 23 other fantastic images. This is what Photoshelter has to say about their beta test site:

“After repeated requests from buyers, we decided to launch a market test to understand demand for PhotoShelter Prints. A select number of images are available now through October 1, 2008. Take a look around, and tell us what you think. If all goes well, we look forward to launching another great revenue opportunity for PhotoShelter members.”

It’s a pretty cool idea really. The images are available in editions of 200, and range in prices from $150 – $450, depending on the size and dpi of the prints. PS does all the printing, which is archival c-prints, and artists receive 50% of the sale. So take a look at the site, and if you feel compelled, buy yourself or someone you know an amazing photograph. I suggest the one below:
